တအာင္းေက်းရြာရွိ ေန့ထိန္းကေလးစာသင္ေက်ာင္း
These video clips were made on Doi Angkang at the village school of Ban KhopDong. KopDong village is a Lahu Shileh village and students at the school are either from there or the larger village of Ban NorLae which is a Palaung village, 3.6km away by road. There are also a few Thai and Shan kids at the school too.
First we see kids at the kindergarten section preparing to have their lunch meal after saying grace. Then a glimpse of activity in the Lahu village were there are visitors who have come to attend a wedding.
Next we see some kindergarten kids on the bus (pick-up) to go home to Ban NorLae. Then some kids play games at the school.
All the junior school kids are then on parade to sing the national anthem before we follow the main troupes of Palaung kids walking home together, the 3.6km distance they do every morning and evening.
